"I live and work in rural La Cieneguilla, ‘the marsh’, southwest of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Predictable, slow-moving seasonal cycles, overseen by petroglyphs carved into volcanic rocks, counter balance the high frequency of digital communication that is as prevalent in my life as the blue sky. For grounding, I look to the earth. The animated landscape has its own story and keeps informing my work. It is mixed-media process of inquiry, materials, and making, through which I reconnect with the mystic-mythic thread that holds it all together."-Kathleen McCloud
